The game itself
Where Pig Dice comes from
Pig is a folk dice game that has been played for generations, and it is one of the simplest examples of a push-your-luck game. A turn is a single repeated choice: roll again and add more points, or stop and keep what the turn has earned. That one decision, repeated, is the whole game.
The version played here uses two pigs rather than numbered dice. Instead of reading a number, you read the pose each pig lands in. A pig can come to rest on its side, on its back, upright on all four trotters, balanced on its snout, or leaning on its snout and one ear. Rarer poses are worth more points, which is what makes each extra roll tempting.
The catch is the Pig Out. Certain results end the turn at once and wipe out every unbanked point from that turn. Banked points are safe for the rest of the game, so the tension sits entirely in deciding when enough is enough.

The probability guide explains why the poses appear at different rates, because a pig is not a balanced cube and does not land evenly on all sides.
